Ruff Construction is hiring a lead carpenter to run a crew of two to four on commercial buildouts, tenant improvements and custom residential work across Colorado. You own layout, sequencing and quality on your jobs and work directly with the owner and the project coordinator.
We are growing into commercial work statewide; leads who want to move toward superintendent have a path here.
What You'll Do
- Lead a crew day to day: layout, material takeoffs, sequencing, quality control
- Framing through finish carpentry to plan and code
- Coordinate with subs and inspectors on site
- Daily logs, photos and hours in JobTread
- Model safe work; hold the crew to OSHA practices
What You Bring
- 5+ years of carpentry with at least 1 year leading a crew
- Reads plans and details fluently; comfortable with layout
- Valid driver's license and clean record; able to travel for commercial work
- OSHA 10 required (we pay for OSHA 30)
