Ruff Construction is a family-owned commercial general contractor and self-perform carpentry crew based in Pueblo West, Colorado. We are hiring a carpenter to work rough framing through finish on restaurant buildouts, tenant improvements, Trex decks, remodels and additions.
This is hands-on trade work with a small crew where you learn the whole job. Deck and remodel experience is welcome; commercial experience is a plus, not a requirement.
What You'll Do
- Rough framing, blocking, backing and layout from plans
- Interior and exterior finish carpentry: doors, trim, casework, siding, decking
- Read drawings and keep work to spec and to schedule
- Keep a safe, clean site and follow OSHA practices
- Travel to commercial jobsites across Colorado as needed
What You Bring
- 2+ years of carpentry experience (residential or commercial)
- Own basic hand tools; reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Able to lift 75 lb, work on ladders and lifts, and work outdoors year-round
- OSHA 10 a plus (we pay for it if you do not have it)
